  • This week, schools across the country are recognizing Digital Citizenship Week. This week is a time for everyone who uses digital media such as texting, social media, and the Internet, to think about their rights and responsibilities as citizens of the online world, just like being a citizen of a country comes with certain rights and responsibilities. YOU, Roadrunners, are citizens of the online community, and we are asking you to think about what that means in your daily lives. Each day this week, we will give you information to help you be a positive citizen of the digital community, and encourage you to be respectful, responsible, and resilient, not only at school and home, but anytime you enter the digital world as well. Be James Strong Rutter Proud in ALL parts of your life.

  • In sports news, the James Rutter 8th grade volleyball plays in today’s district playoffs as they travel to Toby Johnson to take on the Jaguars.
