Parents, did you know...

JRMS is working hard to help your students become the very best version of themselves, one advisory lesson at a time. Students go to advisory every Wednesday after 1st period.

We know, though, that YOU and the conversations you have with your children at home have the most impact on them. Every week, the lesson and related resources will be posted on our website. You'll find them on the Advisory page under the Programs tab.

Please partner with us! Talk about the week's lesson with your child to truly reinforce their character development and add your family's values to the conversation.

RYDE SacRT for Student at Schools in SacRT Svc Area

October 1, 2019

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is offering Elk Grove Unified Students who reside in the SacRT service area and/or who attend a school located in the SacRT service area a free SacRT fare transit pass.

This free pass will allow students full access to SacRT services (i.e. buses and light rail) for one year from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.  Use of the pass is valid any day of the week during SacRT transit hours. Passes are not transferable and are to be used only by eligible students.

In the upcoming weeks, we will be working through those schools located in the SacRT service area to distribute the passes. The student free fare transit passes will be made available in the form of a sticker to be placed directly on the student’s school identification card. Please note that elementary school students will receive a unique card provided by SacRT.

Note: If your student receives a pass and you do not want them to participate in the program you can simply remove the sticker pass from the student’s identification card.

This is not an EGUSD sponsored program and as such EGUSD is not responsible for circumstances associated with occurrences using SacRT services or student conduct while using SacRT services. Also, student information will not be shared with either SacRT or the local jurisdictions as result of this program.
